About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Bonding Underwriting and Talent Development Leader in Quebec. You will play a vital role in supporting our growth by developing talent and assisting senior management at various levels.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and conduct training programs for new and existing employees, aligning with business needs and succession plans.
- Provide support to directors and analysts in diverse tasks, including annual revisions, claim requests, new case analysis, broker/client visits, presentations to reinsurers, and more.
- Collaborate with the National Bonding Underwriting team to enhance underwriting processes and standards.
- Manage the regional client surveillance list effectively.
- Lead special projects at both regional and national levels.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and cultivate strong relationships with brokers and clients.
- Represent Intact Financial Corporation and the team at various industry associations and bonding beneficiary meetings.
Requirements:
- University degree in accounting, finance, or administration.
- CPA, CGA, CMA, CFA designation is an asset.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the bonding industry.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and continuous learning skills.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication abilities.
- Thorough understanding of bonding and construction industries.
- Client-focused, results-oriented, and innovative mindset.
- Team player with the ability to lead effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and autonomy.
- Fluency in both French and English.
