Position Overview:

The role of Deputy Director at the School of Accounting & Finance within the Centre for Business division involves providing both academic and administrative oversight to promote the effectiveness of our educational programs and initiatives. Reporting directly to the Dean, you will work closely with the leadership team to execute strategic objectives and improve the overall student experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to formulate and execute strategic initiatives
  • Oversee and guide faculty, management, and support personnel
  • Effectively address conflicts and manage team dynamics
  • Assess, create, and launch new educational programs and initiatives
  • Ensure excellence in teaching and learning methodologies
  • Lead the development of partnerships with external academic institutions and community organizations
  • Administer the operational budget of the School

Requirements:

  • A Master's Degree is mandatory; a Doctorate is highly preferred
  • Additional certifications in relevant fields are advantageous
  • A minimum of nine years of experience in the education sector
  • Proven leadership in promoting excellence in teaching and learning
