Senior Business Analyst, Internal Audit and Compliance

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst, Internal Audit and Compliance to join our Finance team in Montreal. As a key member of our Internal Audit team, you will play a critical role in supporting the best practices of our finance division to drive Internal Audit at Lightspeed.
As a Senior Business Analyst, Internal Audit and Compliance, you will be responsible for executing internal audit engagements, performing risk evaluations, drafting audit reports, and verifying that management action plans have been effectively implemented. You may also participate in other ad-hoc compliance projects to better the Internal Audit function.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Internal Audit Engagements: You will lead the execution of internally sourced audit engagements, including performing associated risk assessments.
- Draft Audit Reports: You will draft the audit engagement report to be presented to upper management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.
- Discuss Findings with Management: You will discuss with management on findings, and follow up on remediation action plans for any associated findings.
- Champion Internal Audit System: You will champion the internal audit system (AuditBoard).
- Participate in Ad-Hoc Projects: You will participate in ad-hoc special projects.
- Professional Designations: You must hold a CPA, CIA, or be in the process of obtaining either designation.
- Experience: You must have 4 to 5 years of experience as an internal or external auditor.
- Knowledge: You must have knowledge of the application of IFRS.
- Skills: You must have experience in situations that require significant attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and excellent written and spoken English.
- Experience with Audit Software: You must have experience with AuditBoard, NetSuite, and/or Salesforce.
- Experience in a High-Growth Company: You must have experience in a high growth, technology company.
- Knowledge of SOX Requirements: You must have knowledge on SOX requirements.
- Language Skills: You must have excellent written and spoken French.
- Self-Motivated and Detail-Oriented: You are self-motivated and detail-oriented, able to multitask and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Analytical Skills: You have great analytical skills, and professional judgment.
