We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Internal Audit to become a vital part of our Finance team. Your role will be essential in upholding the highest standards within our finance division to enhance Internal Audit processes at Lightspeed.

In this position, you will contribute to the growth of the Internal Audit team by conducting audit engagements, assessing risks, preparing audit reports, and ensuring that management's action plans are effectively executed. You may also engage in various compliance projects aimed at improving the Internal Audit function.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the VP of Internal Audit & SOX Compliance, you will spearhead the execution of audit engagements sourced internally, including conducting relevant risk assessments; Composing the audit engagement report for presentation to senior management and the Audit Committee; Engaging with management to discuss findings and following up on remediation action plans; Advocating for the internal audit system (AuditBoard); and Participating in special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

CPA, CIA, or in the process of obtaining either designation; 4 to 5 years of experience in internal or external auditing; Familiarity with IFRS application; Experience in detail-oriented situations; Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with AuditBoard, NetSuite, and/or Salesforce; Background in a rapidly growing technology company; Understanding of SOX requirements; Proficiency in written and spoken French.
