Job Title: Case Management Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Case Management Lead to join our team at the Canadian Red Cross. As a Case Management Lead, you will be responsible for providing leadership to the Case Management team, ensuring the effective delivery of case management services to clients. You will work closely with the Recovery Manager to conduct community needs assessments and identify evolving needs of the impacted population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Case Management team, providing direction and coordination for case management and business processes.
  • Model, lead, support, and provide guidance to Case Management Supervisors in case management planning activities and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Conduct community needs assessments and identify evolving needs of the impacted population in collaboration with the Recovery Manager.
  • Provide regular comprehensive and timely operational reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Disaster Management, Emergency Management, Social Services, or Community Development, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory and/or management position.
  • Experience in program management, coordination, and client-facing work, including direct case management or a customer-focused role.
  • Experience with the Red Cross and relief or recovery operations and capacity building is a strong asset.
  • Experience managing virtual teams.
  • Language proficiency in English or French, with Indigenous and other languages considered an asset.

Working Conditions:

  • The majority of the work is performed in a clean and comfortable environment. Mobile worker arrangements will consider the tools, resources, and environment required.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings occasionally.
  • Regular travel, including overnight travel within the province, will be required.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driver's abstract.
  • Potential for responding in disaster areas and difficult and unstable conditions.

Eligibility:

  • Eligibility to work in Canada is required.
  • Must complete a successful pre-employment screening process, including a satisfactory Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC).
