About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Second Cook to join our team at Dexterra Group. As a Second Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring consistency and quality in food presentation.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to Food Safe protocols and regulations.
- Support the Head Cook in menu planning, inventory management, and food storage.
- Prepare and serve meals to clients, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve operational goals and objectives.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of cooking experience in a similar environment.
- Food Safe Level I certification (Safe Check advanced food safety certification or HACCP certification an asset).
- Ability to obtain a mark of 80% or higher on the mandatory WHMIS test.
- Background check required.
