Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

Bombay Vintage Inc. is seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, catering firm, and fine dining establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules and deadlines.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Prepare and submit reports on restaurant performance, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries, ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the establishment's culinary genres, enhancing the dining experience for our customers.
  • Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and efficient service.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to work in a standing position for extended periods, with the ability to lift and move objects as needed.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physical activity. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.
