Position Overview

In collaboration with the ER/ICU/Visiting Clinic Manager, this role will assist the healthcare team in managing outpatient appointment priorities.

Your responsibilities will include scheduling and booking outpatient and visiting specialist appointments, coordinating clinic schedules, preparing patient charts, managing medical records, performing data entry, answering phone calls, and ordering necessary supplies.


Compensation:
The wage for this position is set at $28.91/hour.

Qualifications
  • Completion of Grade 12.
  • A minimum of two years of recent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Typing proficiency of at least 45 words per minute.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact positively with others.
  • Physical capability to perform the duties required.
  • Supervisory skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in operating relevant equipment.
