We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at The Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medication Management: Assist with the administration of medications and maintain accurate records.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including their living areas and common spaces.
  • Meal Service: Assist with serving meals and snacks to residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
  • Transportation: Safely transport residents to and from activities, appointments, and other destinations.
  • Communication: Maintain open and respectful communication with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending.
