The Crew Lead - Pipeline Construction will provide guidance, on-site leadership, and continuous enhancement of production processes, procedures, and equipment. This role is responsible for supervising, scheduling, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of assigned laborers.
About Strike GroupStrike Group is a leading provider of services in the areas of integrity digs, pipeline construction, facility construction, and decommissioning, as well as facility and pipeline demolition.
Key Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment such as 2-5 ton picker trucks, telehandlers, skidsteers, and aerial work platforms (AWP)
- Participate in daily safety meetings and contribute to incident investigations and reviews
- Manage client relationships and ensure quality and inspection of installation
- Complete quality reports and necessary statistics
- Communicate work progress and safety performance to the site supervisor
- Maintain all equipment and tools in good and safe working condition and report any issues to the lead hand
- Manage and perform general housekeeping and daily clean-up of work area
- Education: CSTS, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, AWP, First Aid
- Experience: Two (2) to Three (3) years of pipeline or facility construction experience as a Crew Truck Foreperson, Three (3) to Five (3) years of pipeline or facility experience as a Labourer
- Capable of setting and managing priorities to meet all deadlines
- Strong coordination and organization skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
