Crew Truck Operations Manager

Job Summary
The Crew Truck Lead is a key member of the Strike Group team, responsible for providing direction and leadership to ensure the successful execution of pipeline and facility construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, procedures, and equipment, as well as excellent communication and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-floor leadership and direction to ensure project objectives are met
- Coordinate and supervise the work of labourers and other crew members
- Ensure the safety and productivity of the work site
- Manage and maintain client relationships
- Apply project procedures, work site policies, and collective agreement requirements
- Ensure quality and inspection of installation
- Complete quality reports and required statistics
- Inform the Superintendent of any out-of-scope work
- Move equipment and materials between sites
- Load and unload construction materials and equipment for transporting to work locations
- Communicate work progress and safety performance to the site supervisor
- Maintain all equipment and tools in good and safe working condition
- Manage and perform general housekeeping and daily clean-up of the work area
Requirements
- CSTS, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, AWP, First Aid certifications
- Two to three years of pipeline or facility construction experience as a Crew Truck Foreperson
- Three to five years of pipeline or facility experience as a Labourer
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Working Conditions
- Accommodations provided (hotel or camp) or LOA provided
- Shift schedule ranging from 17 days on and 4 days off to 24 days on and 4 days off
- Ability to work in various locations, including High Level, Rainbow Lake, Zama, Manning, Red Earth, and Fort St. John
- Travel required
