We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Sushi Harbour. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques to ensure consistency and excellence in our dishes.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
