Culinary Services Supervisor

The Culinary Services Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of food preparation and service within our establishment. This position requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for quality food service.
Educational Requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
This role is set within a fast-paced restaurant atmosphere, requiring adaptability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement methods to achieve work schedules.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Assess and estimate the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation.
- Recruit and hire food service personnel.
- Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Prepare financial budgets and cost estimates for operations.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Compile and submit operational reports as required.
- Prepare summaries of food orders for the chef.
- Possess knowledge of the culinary styles relevant to the establishment.
- Supervise the assembly of meal trays and the delivery of food carts.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Responsible for supervising a team of 11-15 individuals.
Safety and SecurityA criminal record check is mandatory for this position.
Transportation RequirementsPersonal transportation is required for this role.

- Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking is necessary.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and walk frequently.
- Attention to detail is essential.

- Demonstrated initiative and dependability.
Preferred experience of 2 to 3 years in a similar role.
