Onshore Project Engineering Specialist

Position Overview

We are looking for an Onshore Project Engineering Specialist to oversee the onshore aspects of new unit sales agreements, facilitating our clients in achieving their decarbonization objectives through cutting-edge power generation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster robust client relationships by promptly addressing their requirements and collaborating with Siemens Energy product divisions to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Organize and manage resources essential for site operations, including personnel, components, tools, consumables, and safety gear.
  • Inspire and guide diverse project teams by making informed technical and commercial choices, while keeping the focus on client satisfaction and project objectives.
  • Oversee financials and projections for execution tasks by monitoring labor hours and expenses, ensuring project profitability, and keeping clients informed.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of fundamental principles, practices, and procedures in the commercial and technical oversight of turbine and generator apparatus.
  • Engage in customer and field service interactions related to installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of client equipment and systems.
  • Serve as a primary contact for both internal and external customer interactions.
  • Assist the General Project Manager and sales team to ensure that all facets of client needs and relationships are effectively managed.
  • Identify and resolve complex challenges, applying problem-solving expertise to a variety of situations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience.
  • The selected candidate will be expected to achieve project management certification within a specified timeframe.
