Onshore Project Engineering Specialist

Overview of the Position

We are looking for an Onshore Project Engineering Specialist to effectively manage the onshore aspects of new unit sales agreements, assisting clients in achieving their sustainability objectives through our cutting-edge power generation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate robust client relationships by promptly addressing their requirements and collaborating with Siemens Energy product divisions to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Organize and oversee resources necessary for site operations, including personnel, components, tools, consumables, and safety gear.
  • Inspire and guide diverse project teams by making informed technical and commercial choices, while keeping customer and project objectives in focus.
  • Oversee financial planning and projections for project execution by monitoring labor hours and expenses, ensuring project profitability, and keeping clients updated.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of fundamental principles, practices, and procedures in the commercial and technical oversight of turbine and generator systems.
  • Duties encompass customer and field service interactions related to installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of client equipment and systems.
  • Serve as a primary contact for both internal and external customer communications.
  • Assist the General Project Manager and sales team to ensure comprehensive management of customer needs and relationships.
  • Identify and resolve complex challenges, applying problem-solving expertise to a variety of situations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience.
  • The selected candidate will be expected to obtain project management certification within a specified timeframe.
