Job Summary:

This role is an integral part of our Saskatchewan/Manitoba/NWON distribution team, providing confidential support and handling a range of duties under the supervision of the Distribution Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support commission calculations and prepare related documents.
  • Process all department invoices for accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Prepare legal documents for Independent Operator Contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Participate in the creation of the annual budget, working closely with the finance team.
  • Contribute to monthly financial reporting, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Support the team's transition to SAP, ensuring a smooth and efficient implementation.
  • Prepare administrative documents and confidential correspondence, maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Track and measure various departmental areas, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure all independent operators have sufficient and up-to-date insurance coverage, as per their delivery and distribution agreements.
  • Daily interactions with the distribution team and independent operators, fostering strong relationships and communication.
  • Assist with setting up and attending operator meetings, which may occur outside of regular business hours.
  • Administer company policies in a fair, consistent, and reasonable manner, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Distribution Manager.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary training in accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' administrative experience, with a strong background in business operations.
  • Advanced business software skills, including Excel, Word, and Maestro.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on process optimization and efficiency.
  • High level of self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
