Senior Backend Developer for Access Control Features at HuntsBot

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Backend Engineer to join our Collaboration team at HuntsBot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable backend services related to Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) with configurable and granular permissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable backend services for RBAC with configurable permissions
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with software engineers, product managers, designers, and QA analysts
- Effectively communicate team priorities and strategy to engineering and cross-functional leadership teams
- Write and update scalable software in modern stacks such as TypeScript, MongoDB, and AWS
- Build and maintain unit and integration tests, ensuring high-quality and product excellence
- Solve complex problems in a highly technical platform that empowers hundreds of thousands of users
- Improve our planning, development, and deployment processes to enhance team productivity
- Mentor, coach, and inspire a team of engineers of various levels
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 7-10+ years of experience in scalable, multi-tenant environments
- Experience building access control systems such as RBAC, ABAC, PBAC, ACLs, etc.
- 2+ years of experience tech-leading feature teams on customer-facing products, including writing technical specifications and collaborating with cross-functional partners
- A strong focus on testing and documentation, with a high-quality bar
- A move-fast attitude while maintaining a high-quality standard
- Comfort with ambiguity and scoping solutions with your teammates
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to executive counterparts
- A passion for mentoring and developing other engineers
