Job Title: Senior Backend Engineer, Access Control at HuntsBot

HuntsBot is in search of a Senior Backend Engineer to enhance our Collaboration team, focusing on the development of Access Control functionalities. This position entails the architecture, design, and implementation of robust backend services related to Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). The ideal candidate will possess 7-10+ years of expertise in scalable, multi-tenant systems and demonstrate proficiency in technologies such as TypeScript, MongoDB, and AWS.

About the Role:
  • Location: Remote-first
  • Full-time, Exempt
  • Compensation ranges from $168,000 to $237,000 USD
  • Reports to the Senior Engineering Manager
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, architect, and implement scalable backend services for RBAC
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Develop and maintain software in modern technology stacks
  • Create and uphold unit and integration tests
  • Guide and mentor team members
  • Enhance planning, development, and deployment processes
About You:
  • 7-10+ years of experience in scalable environments
  • Familiarity with access control systems
  • Experience in leading feature teams on customer-facing products
  • Appreciate the importance of testing and documentation
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and defining solutions
