Food Service Team Lead

Taco Time is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our fast-paced food service environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they meet performance expectations.
- Operations: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment, or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
Taco Time is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods, and may be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
