About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Supervisor to join our Child Protection team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing supervision and guidance to Child Protection workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to vulnerable children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support Child Protection workers in their daily activities
  • Provide guidance and coaching to improve worker performance and skills
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to achieve shared goals

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. social work, child and youth care)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in child protection or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
