Job Summary:

As a Child Protection Assistant Supervisor with the Government of Saskatchewan, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families. This position requires a strong understanding of child protection principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of child protection workers to ensure effective case management and service delivery.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote best practices in child protection.
  • Collaborate with other government agencies and community organizations to ensure a comprehensive approach to child protection.
  • Provide training and coaching to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in child protection.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as social work or child and youth care.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in child protection or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
