About the RoleThe Bell Captain is responsible for assisting guests with luggage during their arrival and departure experience, making necessary deliveries to and pick up from guest rooms, and extending guidance and training to bell persons. This role requires strong crisis management skills, a strong commitment to service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assist guests with luggage during arrival and departure
- Make necessary deliveries to and pick up from guest rooms
- Extend guidance and training to bell persons
- Handle guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality
- Accommodate special requests, resolve guest complaints, and assist guests in all inquiries related to hotel services
- Previous hotel experience required
- Knowledge of or experience with hotel computer systems and programs (Opera)
- College/University degree
- Fluent English (written, spoken and reading)
- Strong crisis management skills
- Strong commitment to service
- Ability to sit, stand and walk up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
- Solid communication and leadership skills
- Multi-tasking and organization
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and team player skills
