We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our revenue recognition efforts in the US REMS business. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing effective revenue delivery models that align with our strategic business plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee roles within the REMS corporate structure to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting across the US business.
- Explore opportunities to maximize the potential of Yardi software, establish standards in processes and policies, and implement them across the business as needed.
- Effectively manage contract administration to record revenue from multiple service offerings, by legal entity and market, and evaluate sales tax or other state or local filing requirements.
- Create and deliver accurate billing processes and deliverables that meet professional standards.
- Ensure adherence to global accounting policies and procedures, including maintaining an effective control environment and internal controls.
- Participate in revenue analysis and delinquency collection to ensure maximum benefit to the line of business.
- Maintain regular contact with internal stakeholders to provide necessary financial information and ensure high-level customer service.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of related finance or accounting experience in a supervisory role.
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance (designation preferred).
- Progressively responsible commercial real estate accounting experience in a high-growth environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with strongest proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
