About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our revenue recognition efforts in the US REMS business. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing effective revenue delivery models that align with our strategic business plans.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and oversee roles within the REMS corporate structure to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting across the US business.
  2. Explore opportunities to maximize the potential of Yardi software, establish standards in processes and policies, and implement them across the business as needed.
  3. Effectively manage contract administration to record revenue from multiple service offerings, by legal entity and market, and evaluate sales tax or other state or local filing requirements.
  4. Create and deliver accurate billing processes and deliverables that meet professional standards.
  5. Ensure adherence to global accounting policies and procedures, including maintaining an effective control environment and internal controls.
  6. Participate in revenue analysis and delinquency collection to ensure maximum benefit to the line of business.
  7. Maintain regular contact with internal stakeholders to provide necessary financial information and ensure high-level customer service.

Requirements

  1. A minimum of 8 years of related finance or accounting experience in a supervisory role.
  2. Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance (designation preferred).
  3. Progressively responsible commercial real estate accounting experience in a high-growth environment.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with strongest proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  5. Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
