Key Responsibilities:
  • Presents the organization's value proposition to new and existing customers, highlighting differentiators and benefits.
  • Develops sales plans and quotas for districts, aligning with national objectives and driving regional sales growth.
  • Meets sales and account objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, and analyzing variances.
  • Negotiates pricing and terms with customers and prospects, leveraging industry knowledge and expertise.
  • Collaborates with the Commercial Director to execute strategic objectives in Ontario, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Interfaces with sales and client services teams to share best practices and drive synergies.
  • Works with local teams to identify new opportunities, improve penetration and retention, and enhance the driver/customer experience.
  • Recruits, selects, trains, and develops sales and account management teams, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Maintains an updated client and prospect database on Salesforce.com, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Provides consulting services to existing and prospective customers, offering expert advice and guidance.
  • Stays up-to-date on industry trends and new technologies, attending relevant functions and events.
  • Participates in short- and long-term strategic planning efforts, contributing to the company's growth and success.
Requirements:
  • Ability to build strategic relationships, supporting lengthy sales cycles in a finance and professional services sales model.
  • Five or more years of experience in business development and strategic account management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience working with C-level executives, particularly in HR, Finance, and Procurement.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions.
  • Knowledge of the leasing and fleet management marketplace is an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related discipline.
