Pharmacist - Pharmacy Care Specialist

At Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix, we're committed to delivering exceptional health, beauty, and convenience services to our communities. As a Pharmacist in our Pharmacy Care Clinic, you'll play a vital role in providing patient-centered care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct patient assessments to prescribe new medications or extend existing ones
- Provide travel health consultations and chronic disease management via medication reviews
- Administer medications by injection and perform point-of-care screening/swabs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to establish circles of care for patients
- Counsel patients on prescription medication use and manage dispensary and pharmacy workflow activities
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- Alberta Pharmacist License
- Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) certification or currently pursuing certification
- Injection Certification required
- A minimum level C First Aid certification
- Additional accreditations are an asset (e.g., CDE, CRE, CTH, etc.)
- Knowledge of HealthWATCH® pharmacy software an asset
