Pharmacy Care Clinic Pharmacist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Care Clinic team. As a Pharmacy Care Clinic Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments to prescribe new medications or extend existing medications
  • Provide travel health consultations and chronic disease management via medication reviews
  • Administer medications by injection and perform point-of-care screening/swabs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to establish circles of care for patients
  • Counsel patients on prescription medication use and provide dispensary and pharmacy workflow support
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
  • Alberta Pharmacist License
  • Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) certification or currently pursuing certification
  • Injection Certification required
  • A minimum level C First Aid certification
  • Additional accreditations are an asset (e.g., CDE, CRE, CTH, etc.)
  • Knowledge of HealthWATCH pharmacy software an asset
