About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you'll be responsible for providing patient care in a clinic environment, while also supporting dispensary and pharmacy workflow activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments to prescribe new medications or extend existing ones
  • Provide travel health consultations and chronic disease management via medication reviews
  • Administer medications by injection and perform point-of-care screening/swabs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to establish circles of care for patients
  • Counsel patients on prescription medication use and provide lab requisitions and interpreting lab results
Requirements
  • Alberta Pharmacist License
  • Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) certification or currently pursuing certification
  • Injection Certification required
  • Additional accreditations are an asset (e.g., CDE, CRE CTH, etc.)
