About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team in Montreal. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration of our facilities and office services departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and coaching to our HR team members
  • Liaise with our Building Property Management team for building notices, repairs, and maintenance
  • Drive health and safety initiatives within the office and work with our health and safety team to ensure compliance
  • Assist with planning and execution of local office social events and charitable initiatives
  • Liaise with our local and national IT team on day-to-day IT issues
  • Collaborate with our national HR team and support the administration of various HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, compensation, and employee relations
  • Ensure our office and operations are in compliance with the Office québecois de la langue française (OQLF) requirements for French language in the workplace
  • Foster a work environment that is inclusive, collaborative, and engaging
  • Support compliance requirements for pay equity and training obligations
  • Manage a team of legal administrative assistants and coordinate group team activities
  • Conduct new hire orientations and office tours, as well as exit interviews
