Design Engineer, BRP

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing the mechanical components of our vehicles from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical systems from concept to production, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, purchasing, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering.
- Participate in the development of performance criteria, validation plans, and execution of system validation.
- Conduct studies, analyses, and calculations to guide technicians and project managers in their work.
- Work on the development, design, and testing of various mechanical systems for BRP vehicles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in English and French (written and spoken).
- Ability to apply mechanical principles, tolerancing, and material resistance.
- Familiarity with the principles of operation and construction of motorized vehicle systems.
- Experience with predictive calculation tools.
- Proven project management skills.
- Strong learning and adaptability skills.
- Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Availability for occasional travel to our manufacturing sites.
