Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Technician to join our team at BRP. As an Electrical Design Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the design, development, and validation of electrical and mechatronic systems for our ATV recreational vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to perform electrical design and development.
  • Coordinate and participate in the production of electrical schematics, component lists, drawings, and their timely release.
  • Develop plans for all projects under development in the department.
  • Support the workshop in assembling and diagnosing prototype vehicles.
  • Analyze technical problems, define, and propose appropriate corrective measures.
  • Collaborate with and support other departments (Service, Production, etc.).

Requirements:

  • D.E.C. in electrical or electrotechnical engineering or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge and skills in electrical engineering, electromechanics, electrical circuit design, and wired logic.
  • Ability to work in an environment where technical solutions are not known, where the path is not mapped out.
  • Autonomous, responsible, resourceful, and a good team player.
  • Ability to communicate in French and English (written and spoken).
