About the Opportunity

The Agency by Workland is seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Manager to join their growing team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a critical role in leading the procurement function and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of sourcing and procurement specialists to manage procurement processes, control costs, and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and execute complex sourcing strategies to achieve critical corporate objectives.
  • Provide consulting and guidance to internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Conduct market analyses to identify trends, potential suppliers, and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Identify and assess supply chain risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary qualification with a solid understanding of Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management principles.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing critical contracts across key business areas.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading supply chain teams.
  • Experience in public sector sourcing at Federal, Provincial, or Municipal levels.
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with all levels of leaders.
  • Superior communication skills and highly effective negotiation skills.
  • Effective decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-resolution skills.
