**Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and guidance to our culinary operations team, ensuring accuracy of food and beverage inventory counts, and identifying areas for cost control improvement.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Support food and beverage operations with inventory management and control
  • Run and audit inventory reports to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist with inventory variance analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction
  • Oversee end-of-month inventory counts and ensure physical counts are performed according to established procedures
  • Update inventory and analyze usage variances, reporting major discrepancies to senior management
  • Maintain the inventory database, including item, recipe, and vendor maintenance
  • Design efficient inventory management systems to maximize sales and menu engineering reporting
  • Ensure sales mix from point-of-sale systems is updated and revenue captures are tracked
  • Report on daily, weekly, and monthly inventory as required to resolve variance discrepancies
  • Verify and test recipes for accuracy and completeness
  • Verify point-of-sale system accuracy and ensure sales mix imports are correct
  • Assist with menu development, weights, and measures, and yield calculations
  • Calculate theoretical and actual cost of goods sold and identify deficiencies in cost control measures
  • Provide training to new team members on inventory management systems
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with food and beverage departments
  • Track and analyze consumption rates and inventory levels, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement

**Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in food and beverage operations, culinary education, or equivalent
  • Ability to exceed customer expectations through timely and effective communication
  • Computer literacy in MS Office
  • Experience with inventory management systems, such as Optimum Control
  • Food Safe - Level 1 certification
  • Serving it right certification
