Job Summary

Viva Mexicana is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Physically demanding

Viva Mexicana is a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Cook, you will be working in a kitchen setting with a team of experienced staff.
