We are expanding and seeking a dedicated, motivated, and enthusiastic individual for the role of Senior Director or Director of Retail Leasing.

Position Overview

Are you ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic, professional, and enjoyable setting? The ideal candidate will be tasked with defining, managing, and supervising the national leasing operations for Skyline's Retail REIT portfolio, aiming to enhance overall occupancy and revenue while aligning with Skyline's commitment to efficiency and value creation in real estate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In-depth experience in all facets of retail leasing; adept at proactively pursuing and finalizing renewals and new leases for any unoccupied or soon-to-expire spaces.
  • A robust network of positive industry connections, with the capability to cultivate and sustain ongoing relationships with both tenants and brokerage communities, ensuring widespread awareness of Skyline's Retail portfolio.
  • Comprehensive understanding of retail leasing principles and practices, as well as relevant Federal, Provincial, and local laws and regulations.
  • Proven ability to provide insights and recommendations to asset management and finance regarding annual leasing assumptions as part of a thorough budgeting process.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and customer service abilities; enthusiastic about collaborating within the leasing team and the broader Retail group, including mentoring and developing junior staff.
  • Capacity to thrive under pressure and meet multiple tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and travel as necessary.
  • A representative who promotes a highly professional and positive image of Skyline Retail REIT properties and Skyline Commercial Management Inc.
