Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, supervising staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations:
    • Manage daily restaurant operations, including inventory control, scheduling, and staff supervision.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company standards and policies.
    • Monitor and maintain high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Human Resources:
    • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure a motivated and productive team.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
    • Ensure a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Financial:
    • Manage cash handling, inventory control, and cost management.
    • Prepare and submit financial reports as required.
    • Monitor and control labor costs.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure exceptional customer service and a welcoming dining experience.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in a restaurant supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in all restaurant positions.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operating systems and standards.
  • Ability to train and coach others.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communication and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to lead meetings and train staff.
