Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Service Delivery to lead our Transportation Operations team at Gate Gourmet. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business results, improving service quality, and reducing operating costs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategic Direction: Provide strategic direction to the Transportation Operations team to meet and exceed service quality and reduce operating costs.
  • Financial Management: Accountable for budget and responsible for managing labor costs, indirect labor costs, and management budget.
  • Team Management: Oversee the planning and coordination of routes and schedules to ensure safe, on-time, and cost-effective delivery of catering uplifts and associated products.
  • Employee Development: Responsible for employee discipline and corrective actions, as well as recruitment, training, and development of team members.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Partner with other unit process owners to ensure conflict resolution and removal of potential system/process roadblocks.
  • Incident Management: Participate in PRIDE/SQUAD and oversee investigations of incidents/accidents within the span of control.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree educated in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or Business Management.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years management experience with demonstrable leadership and senior management activities and responsibilities.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
