Position Overview : As a vital member of the BGIS SCS Team, you will oversee a specific area of job sites under contract. Your role will involve ensuring the execution of responsibilities and confirming that all elements of the client agreement are met, with a strong focus on quality assurance, health and safety, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Duties: In collaboration with the operations team and under the guidance of the Director of Operations, the Cleaning Inspector will be responsible for:

  • Delivering exceptional service to client accounts through effective supervision and coordination of cleaning staff and subcontractors.
  • Ensuring operational stability at job sites and addressing any daytime emergencies promptly.
  • Responding efficiently to all operational inquiries.
  • Reporting safety or security concerns to the Operations department.
  • Conducting internal audits, compiling reports of findings, and maintaining records of corrective measures.
  • Inspecting facilities to verify compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Coordinating, reviewing, and reporting on field quality inspections to uphold safety, security, and cleanliness.
  • Implementing action plans and following up on deficiencies identified in quality inspections to resolve facility issues effectively.
  • Ensuring that cleaning staff and subcontractors complete all required tasks in compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and corporate policies.
  • Confirming that subcontractors and cleaning personnel are trained and cleared through all security protocols.
  • Providing training to cleaning staff and subcontractors on their responsibilities.
  • Maintaining work schedules in accordance with client requirements.
  • Exemplifying the company's values and leading by example to foster a culture of quality and best practices.
  • Monitoring staff absences and turnover, ensuring flexible coverage on short notice.
  • Tracking inventory and equipment.
  • Safeguarding company and client assets from misuse and damage.
  • Assisting with emergency procedures as necessary.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a cleaning or service-related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Professional demeanor with a courteous and approachable attitude.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Familiarity with janitorial and battery-operated equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and intermediate computer skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple objectives.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to meet tight deadlines and respond swiftly to situations.
  • Self-motivated and accountable, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in multitasking, prioritizing tasks effectively, and meeting various deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
