We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Quality Assurance Inspector to join our production team at our Cambridge facility. Each member of our team plays a vital role in BWXT Canada's success, ensuring we meet our customers' quality, cost, and delivery expectations. Primary Function:

To perform all tasks of a Quality Assurance Inspector and conduct non-destructive examinations.

Tasks:
  • Conduct NDE across all areas of the Shop.
  • Interpret documentation, including drawings and operating procedures.
  • Create inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Demonstrate exceptional workmanship and adherence to best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with internal team members (peers, production leadership, project management, engineering) as well as customer representatives.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by complying with all health, safety, and environmental guidelines/regulations.
  • Understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations.
Qualifications:
  • Proven commitment to workplace safety.
  • Must possess MT Level 2 AND PT Level 2 PLUS 2 of the following:
    • CEDO
    • UT CGSB-1
    • RT CGSB-1
    • 2 years as a Fabrication/Machining inspector with BWXT
    • 5 years as a Fabrication/Machine inspector with documented evidence from an external company or 5 years Fitting/Welding experience within BWXT
    • Certified Weld Inspector (AWS-CWI or CWB2)
  • Experience in the nuclear industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
