Position Overview: As an integral member of the BGIS SCS Team, you will oversee a specific area of job sites under contract. Your role will involve ensuring the execution of responsibilities and verifying that all elements of the client agreement are met, with a strong focus on quality assurance, health and safety, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities: In collaboration with the operations team and under the guidance of the Director of Operations, the Cleaning Inspector will:

  • Guarantee a superior level of service for client accounts through effective supervision and coordination of cleaning staff and subcontractors.
  • Maintain operational stability at job sites and address any daytime emergencies that arise.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to all operational inquiries.
  • Report any safety or security concerns to the Operations department.
  • Conduct internal audits, compile reports of findings, and maintain documentation of corrective measures.
  • Inspect facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Coordinate, review, and report on field quality inspections to uphold safety, security, and cleanliness.
  • Implement action plans and follow up on deficiencies identified in quality inspections to resolve facility issues efficiently.
  • Ensure that cleaning staff and subcontractors complete all assigned tasks and adhere to relevant legislation, standards, and corporate policies.
  • Confirm that subcontractors and cleaning personnel are properly cleared and trained in all security protocols.
  • Provide training to cleaning staff and subcontractors on their duties.
  • Maintain work schedules according to client requirements.
  • Exemplify the company's values and lead by example to foster a culture of quality and best practices.
  • Monitor attendance and turnover, ensuring flexible coverage arrangements are in place on short notice.
  • Track inventory and equipment effectively.
  • Safeguard the company's and clients' assets from misuse and damage.
  • Assist with emergency procedures as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a cleaning or service-related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Professional demeanor with a courteous and approachable attitude.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Familiarity with janitorial and battery-operated equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and intermediate computer skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple objectives.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on meeting tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and accountable, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
