About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Hut. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, including supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation and portioning.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
    • Hire and manage food service staff.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 people, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
    • Standing for extended periods.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 35 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will be required to work in a restaurant environment, which can be noisy at times.
