Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Jessy's Pizza. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customer needs are met and that they receive exceptional service.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
