About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Technician to join our team at Paul's Paper. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of our packaging products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out work study to optimize production processes
  • Develop and conduct production, inventory, and quality assurance programs
  • Inspect processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Oversee production to meet customer demands
  • Set machine or equipment controls to optimize performance
  • Design plant layouts and production facilities to improve efficiency
  • Conduct work measurement or other studies to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop computer applications for machines and processes
  • Collect and compile operational or experimental data to inform decision-making
  • Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 5 years or more of experience in manufacturing or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of computer and technology systems, including networking hardware and control systems
  • Experience with pneumatic devices and microprocessor-based systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
