Join Plasman's Team as a Molding Process Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Molding Process Technician to join our team at Plasman. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our molding processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate molding equipment to produce high-quality products
  • Monitor and adjust process parameters to maintain quality and productivity levels
  • Collaborate with technical and shift supervisors to ensure proper set up and operation of equipment
  • Direct and train set-up technicians to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Operate overhead cranes and set up end-of-arm tooling on robots
  • Perform first and last-off inspections and maintain SPC aspects of the process
  • Recommend maintenance and participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Comply with established rules, procedures, and health and safety mandates

Requirements:

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those with related post-secondary education
  • 2 years of experience in a technical capacity, preferably in injection molding processes and set-up within a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated level of knowledge, skill, and ability as a process technician
