About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Planning Advisor to join our team at Banque Nationale du Canada. As a Senior Advisor, you will play a key role in the Initiative Portfolio Management and Business Strategy team, working closely with senior management to drive the strategic planning cycle and business plan for Wealth Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the strategic planning cycle, including organizing sessions, agendas, content, and logistics.
  • Conduct complex analyses and business case studies, presenting findings and making recommendations to inform decision-making and strategic orientations.
  • Monitor performance, achievements, and upcoming activities, making recommendations to achieve objectives based on findings, progress, and changes in the business context.
  • Coordinate, produce, and distribute presentations and reports on business plan performance and strategic priority progress.
  • Consolidate information, write executive content, and prepare communications on business plan progress, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Stay informed of best practices, new developments, and industry trends to identify opportunities and enrich strategic discussions.

About the Team:

You will be part of a dynamic and passionate team of six colleagues, reporting to the Senior Manager, Initiative Portfolio Management & Business Strategy. Our team is at the heart of the transformation, working closely with Wealth Management business lines, partners, and other sectors to deliver the business plan and manage strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Finance, Administration, Marketing, Communication) and 10 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in a related field and 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in strategic planning or ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent writing and synthesis skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of PowerPoint and SharePoint tools.
  • Language proficiency: English (required for collaboration with colleagues outside Quebec).
