About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic-minded Contract Management Lead to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and executing our organization's contract management strategy for large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance to leadership on contract development and management best practices, particularly for complex mega-projects.
  • Lead the planning, oversight, and refinement of standard contract documents, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with project management teams to develop and implement tactical solutions that optimize contract execution.
  • Manage a team of contract professionals, fostering a culture of compliance and excellence in contract administration.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Procurement, Legal, and Project Management teams, ensuring seamless integration of contract needs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams in negotiations to resolve contractual disputes effectively and efficiently.
  • Oversee the Commercial Management function, ensuring adherence to best practices, corporate governance standards, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide expert advice on procurement strategy, contract terms and conditions, and legal implications of competitive submissions.
  • Maintain accurate records for all contracts and ensure effective document management practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
  • Over 10 years of proven experience in contract management on mega-projects, with a focus on developing contracting strategies, scope definition, and project controls requirements.
  • Extensive experience managing large contracts (>$1 billion) across diverse industries, including EPC/EPCM, Partnership/Alliance/IPD agreements.
  • In-depth understanding of construction processes, procurement approaches, and project contracting methodologies.
  • Exceptional planning, contract management, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a high-performing team environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
