Chubby's Variety is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Scheduling and Coordination
- Schedule and confirm appointments for our team members and stakeholders.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries as needed.
- Communication and Correspondence
- Answer telephone calls and relay messages to the relevant team members.
- Respond to electronic enquiries and correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
- Administrative Support
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
- Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as required.
- Customer Service
- Greet customers and visitors, and direct them to the relevant team members or service areas.
- Screening and Evaluation
- Assist with the screening and evaluation of candidates for job openings.
- Support for Diverse Groups
- Provide physical accessibility accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
- Assist with the settlement needs of newcomers and refugees.
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities and organizations.
- Offer mentorship programs to support visible minorities.
- Employment Details
- Employment type: Permanent.

- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
