Position: Commercial Account Manager

Reporting To: Commercial Sales Manager

Location: Ottawa, ON

Carrier Enterprise Canada is a prominent subsidiary of Watsco, Inc., the largest independent distributor in the HVAC/R sector globally. We specialize in distributing leading brands such as Carrier, Bryant, and Payne, catering to both Commercial and Residential markets, alongside a comprehensive range of aftermarket parts, supplies, and accessories. With 36 locations across Canada, we are excited to welcome applications for the role of Commercial Account Manager.

The Opportunity

  • Drive sales performance and enhance market presence for our Aftermarket Parts product lines and Carrier, Bryant, and Payne equipment.
  • Identify and engage new customers and dealers to expand territory coverage.
  • Foster robust client relationships while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proactively explore new business channels and support retail initiatives.
  • Introduce potential customers and dealers to our offerings and services.
  • Prepare quotes for customers and relay market insights back to the organization.
  • Keep clients informed about product availability and order statuses.
  • Deliver product information and support to customers.
  • Assist the credit department in managing outstanding debts and resolving customer disputes.
  • Provide backup support to the Counter team as needed.
  • Compile and submit weekly sales reports.
  • Participate in after-hours call-out services for customer support.
  • Coordinate and facilitate customer training sessions with vendor assistance.

What You Offer

  • A minimum of three to five years of experience in HVAC/R sales.
  • Post-secondary education in HVAC or a related field.
  • A self-motivated, organized individual with a strong drive for sales success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A customer-centric approach to service.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Knowledge and skills in refrigeration.
  • Demonstrated abilities in negotiation, sales, and leadership.
