Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Legal Administrative Coordinator to provide essential support within our legal department. This role involves managing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of legal processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mail Management: Open and distribute both regular and electronic incoming correspondence and materials.
  • Filing System Maintenance: Organize and maintain an efficient filing system for legal documents.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and input correspondence and legal documents accurately.
  • Proofreading: Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure adherence to legal standards and grammatical accuracy.
  • Bookkeeping: Perform basic bookkeeping duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to less than 5 years of relevant experience in a legal administrative role.
