We are seeking a skilled Legal Administrative Coordinator to provide essential support within our legal department. This role involves managing various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of legal processes.
Key Responsibilities- Mail Management: Open and distribute both regular and electronic incoming correspondence and materials.
- Filing System Maintenance: Organize and maintain an efficient filing system for legal documents.
- Document Preparation: Prepare and input correspondence and legal documents accurately.
- Proofreading: Review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure adherence to legal standards and grammatical accuracy.
- Bookkeeping: Perform basic bookkeeping duties as required.
- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 to less than 5 years of relevant experience in a legal administrative role.
This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work.
