Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at Michael Page International Canada Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Quality Control: Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with the project team and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Inspections: Perform daily inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Logistics: Maintain a daily log of visitors, sub-trades, job actions, materials expended, and weather conditions.
  • Site Management: Ensure the job site is organized and clean, setting an example for the project team.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as required to support the project team.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of software programs, such as MS Office (Excel, Word, Project), Outlook, and Pro-Core.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to write reports and professional correspondence.
  • Project Management: Strong track record of delivering construction projects on time and on schedule.
  • Health and Safety: Solid health and safety record on construction sites.
  • Education and Experience: Relevant educational background and/or commensurate experience in construction management.
