Overall Purpose

The Site Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality services and support for all operations assigned to their location(s).

This role provides leadership and direction to team members executing various tasks.

The Site Operations Manager fosters a positive and efficient working environment at the site.

It is essential to uphold all company and client standards and protocols.

Site Manager / Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Client Relations & Business Growth

  • Build and sustain relationships with clients and site staff
  • Engage in daily communications with diverse stakeholders at the site level

Operational Management

  • Organize and oversee operations
  • Staff missions effectively
  • Train and validate inspectors
  • Manage adjustments in operations
  • Identify, tag, and verify nonconforming materials
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of work effectiveness
  • Perform visual, mechanical, and functional checks to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications
  • Make independent decisions in subjective scenarios
  • Act as an inspector when necessary
  • Commit to minimizing workplace accidents
  • Adhere to local and corporate Health & Safety regulations, laws, and policies

Organizational & Management Duties

  • Ensure all site personnel receive corporate communications
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to address performance and attendance issues
  • Serve as a liaison between the Site Manager and inspectors
  • Guarantee accurate entry, monitoring, and approval of inspector time
  • Establish and maintain a 5S working environment

Technical Responsibilities

  • Update daily system entries in company and client portals
  • Generate and maintain reports for clients and the company
  • Utilize company web portals for necessary audits and documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with suppliers and clients regarding process flow, new criteria, and unexpected occurrences
  • Develop electronic work instructions and navigate company and client websites and portals efficiently

Additional Duties

  • Perform any other tasks as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency in English
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Outlook
  • Competence in using various gauges and measuring devices
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
